Lucky, Khalil, and Wayne, friends since childhood, have not quite figured out what they want out of life. Lucky is in denial that he is hustler and runner for Reggie a local club owner who engages in questionable activities. Khalil has fathered a child with Dawn, Lucky's sister. He seems unable to keep a job and Wayne just seem to be not doing much of anything.

When Khalil drives Lucky to a job for Reggie, Wayne in the backseat needs to relieve himself, pull over and finds a dead body and a backpack in the bush. The backpack contains more money than they have ever seen. It does not take long before their new-found blessing becomes a curse and they find that nothing in life is supposed to be easy.
